When you are given a gift voucher for a family photo shoot, it’s like Christmas all over again when you get to use it. Choosing to have their family photoshoot at their amazing home with fabulous views over South Devon. This was a great idea as everyone was relaxed, especially the kids. Having a family photographer come to your house is really easy, you don’t need to tidy up and prepare anything. It’s more about taking photographs of your family that you will love and remember forever.

This was a celebration of the arrival of a new addition to the family but also to capture life as it happens, right now. As a family photographer for more than ten years, I think that with babies it’s always better to have all or at at least part of the family photoshoot at home. Otherwise, the little ones tend to be in buggies and snuggled in slings and not quite so visible.

I really enjoyed being back out in people’s houses, photographing the time as it naturally unfolded. The love was brimming out of this place, and the laughter could be heard down the street. It was one of the most naturally fun and relaxed families I have photographed, and I loved every minute.
