Here is the last post from the photo shoot at Muddifords Court Country House, in Devon. This venue is perfect for couples looking for a DIY Barn wedding in Devon and now it can offer glamping in style with these new Shepherds Huts. We moved into the evening, it was beautifully sunny and the perfect place for sundowners. We all sat around the fire pit, cooked our dinner, ate and drank till we were merry then the kids toasted marshmallows over an open fire. I documented this “family gathering” by photographing the event, stepping back and letting the story unfold in front of me.

I had to work really quickly to create these photos as it was windy so the fire was tricky to get going, then the light disappeared quicker than I expected, the children and dogs were restless. I was a challenge, but eventually the whole shot came together. Working as a team made sure the shots were styled beautifully and props were ready. We finished at midnight but wow it was a great night!
