Most people are really uncomfortable having their photograph taken. How to enjoy having your picture taken when it feels like the weirdness thing ever. We know that we need a photograph on our websites, LinkedIn profile or who’s who page. I take a simple photograph of your head and shoulders plus a full length photograph. This is a great way to show people what you look like, after all, it helps us to relate to each other.
Everyone hates having their photo taken don’t they?
I know it is a little bit of a weird thing to do. And I understand that it’s quite a few people feel quite uncomfortable about having headshots and photographs taken. I always aim to put you at ease. Firstly to know that’s completely normal to feel awkward about this process.
When I photograph profile pictures or headshots as they are known, yes, I do a little bit of retouching afterwards. This is to even out skin tones, get rid of fly away hair and to just simply enhance your own fabulous looks.
It is really your personality, your integrity and your charisma that can be seen quite clearly within an image. This is because naturally, through your eyes and your facial expression people will be able to connect with you. A good profile picture will do all of this for you. So you don’t need to worry too much about what you actually look like.
My experience of photographing people since 2006, enables me to help you through this process, I can put you at ease, help you pose and guide you to make the best version of you visible. Here are some profile photographs I have taken before
