A few days after an intimate wedding, which you can read about here, with just a few really close friends and family, John and Anna planned a monumental beach party, at home in the Devonshire countryside They have spent lots of time in Asia, especially the parties of Goa and they planed to recreate this relaxed beach party vibe.
They made traditional beach huts out of bamboo, imported sand, made wall of wicker, added some tropical plants, palm trees and had seagulls flying around our heads. Plus laid on the most amazing authentic food, all cooked on site by a wonderful Thai lady. This was a proper after party, with a selection of hand picked bands followed by a full on DJ set – awesome this couple really know how to celebrate and throw an amazing memorable party. There was a projection screen showing some of their parties on the beach in Goa mixed with tropical beach scenes.
The rain was immense and at times the weather did stop the fun until eventually we had to move inside as there were torrents of water gathering on the tarpaulin overhead. The party carried on far into the night to celebrate the uniting of two new families. Congratulations to John and Anna for a fabulous wedding party I have not been to one like this in many years and I loved it! [fblike]
