Sian and Pete had a wonderful wedding at Wembury Church in South Devon. This idyllic little church nestles on the edge of the cliffs over looking Wembury Beach, in South Devon.
The bridesmaids wore mismatched vintage dresses, the flowers were natural homegrown beauties and Sian arrived with her Dad looking fantastic.
Amongst the ceremony they took the time to say some personal words that they had written to one another. After the ceremony they were driven in a fantastic massive old 1970’s American Bewick Electra that only just fitted down the little Devon lanes. Sian squealed with excitement at the surprise cars that Pete had organised. It was cool rock and roll, like a scene from Pulp Fiction. Wow Wow wow!!
Sian’s dress was made by friend, they grew their own flowers, Bridesmaids dresses were made from vintage fabric and Sian’s Mum made the tasty wedding cakes. There was a laid back wedding reception at the new wedding venue The Barns at South Milton. South Milton Barns weddings are such a treat, as the Owners Paula and Paul ( yeah funny right?) they go out of there way to help couples make the most of their DIY wedding plans. They are so kind and lovely such an utter delight to work with.
BBQ was served, the speeches were really funny, then the party started. As both of them work in the music industry the playlist was a mix tape special edition. I wanted it all.
Congratulations Sian and Pete it was a fabulous DIY wedding full of great details!!
