I was thrilled to be asked to photograph the talented Devon Singer songwriter Richard James for his upcoming tour and new music EP. Richard wanted some creative portraits that he felt reflected his style of music.

We hunted down some locations near Exeter to make these set of creative portraits. It does take time to make these photographs, it is not a case of pointing the camera and just shooting it. At the time it started to rain so we kept having to stop the shoot. Richard also had changes of clothes so that he had a selection of photographs to use in his new Ep and on the up coming tour.

This Devon lad is really god damn good! He writes all his own music and you can hear his latest album here This summer he is playing a few gigs across the south west and in London, so if you get the chance to grab a beer, sit back, listen and enjoy.
