Don’t you just love it when you are looking frantically for something that in the mayhem you discover something that you had completely forgotten? I think that i am reasonably organized and completely believe that there is a place for everything and everything in its place, but sometimes things get misplaced, lost and therefor categorized by accident. Does this just happen to me? Last week I was looking at going to the Port Eliot Festival in Cornwall, and while looking around there rather lovely website, brimming with of floating elephants and hot air balloons, I discovered that a writer Helen Gilchrist was creating the site content as now part of the Stranger Collective, but this random and accidental discovery reminded me that I remember Helen from the uber creative fanzine Stranger Magazine. Unfortunately this amazing magazine is no longer running but if you want to see how truly creative Cornwall is have a look at the old versions online here.
Not long after I graduated from my MA in Photography at Falmouth I was commissioned by Stranger to create a series of images and i just found them while looking for something completely different.
